Who: Performed by students 8th grade through college selected by audition. The Artistic Director is Bonnie Forgacs; Music Director will be Michael Lodico.
When: Audition dates are May 17th and 18th at Old Wye Church, Wye Mills, MD. If you are away at boarding school or university, you may interview by phone. Performance dates will be July 25, 26,and 27 in Easton and Wye Mills. Rehearsals begin July 8th and are weekday evenings until the performance dates.
Cost: Free to those selected through audition
Why: Ms. Forgacs states: "The mission is to create a synthesis of the arts, musical, visual, and movement. The performances will be the first connection to classical theatre and music for many of the students. The workship provides an introduction to classical theatre and the inclusion into a unique community united for a common goal. Additionally, it provides an enriching experience and the opportunity for individual growth and exploration in a safe, wholesome environment - mentally, physically, and spiritually."
What is needed: Singers, stage manager, assistant director.
